Kalamazoo County Democratic Party Chairman resigns

KALAMAZOO, MI - David Pawloski has resigned his chairmanship of the Kalamazoo County Democratic Party. Pawloski, who resigned earlier this month, is leaving to pursue new career opportunities, according to a press release. He was first elected chair in Nov. 2006 and was re-elected three times.

KALAMAZOO, MI -- While folks are out getting flu shots, they may want to get a pertussis booster as well. Pertussis-- whooping cough-- is not a disease of the past, health officials remind. There have been five lab confirmed pertussis cases in Kalamazoo County residents in October, said Lynne Norman, RN, Clinical Services Division manager for Kalamazoo County Health and Community Services.
