United Way of Kalamazoo and Battle Creek Region Surpasses Fundraising Goal

KALAMAZOO, MI - The United Way of the Battle Creek and Kalamazoo Region announced Tuesday it surpassed its $14.5 million fundraising goal during a celebration of its 2013 fundraising campaign. More than 500 supporters attended the celebration at Air Zoo, where it was announced contributions totaled $14,563,634.

Kalamazoo County Board Agrees to Extend Bronson Park Lease

KALAMAZOO, MI - A one-year lease extension for Bronson Park was finalized Tuesday night after receiving approval from the Kalamazoo County Board of Commissioners. Under terms of the lease, the City of Kalamazoo will pay the county $1 to lease the park for 2014.

Criminal Charges Issued in Connection with Springfield Medical Marijuana Raids
