It wants protections for gay and lesbian job seekers added to the state's Elliott- Larsen Civil Rights Act. It prohibits discrimination because of race, religion, gender, national origin, or disability. The information includes Social Security numbers and other sensitive information.</p><p>The state Department of Community Health says the breach involves some people served by the Long Term Care Ombudsman's Office. The data on the stolen computer was encrypted but information on a flash-drive taken with it was not.
