More communities trying to create "Promise like" scholarship programs

President Obama's address to Kalamazoo Central High School graduates brought new attention to the Kalamazoo Promise Scholarship program. It comes less than two weeks before a conference of communities which have, or are developing, similar scholarship programs. Michelle Miller-Adams is a scholar with the Upjohn Institute for Employment Research, she wrote a book about the Promise released last year. The next Promise Net conference will be held June 16^th through the 18^th in Kalamazoo.
