Kalamazoo man finishes bike ride across America

This past summer, Kalamazoo resident Mel Church rode his bicycle 4,200 miles from Astoria, Oregon to Yorktown, Virginia. WMUK reporter, Nancy Camden rode on the Portage bike trail with Church to learn what he experienced after his report from Wyoming in mid-July.

Rhea Olivaccé on 'The Many Facets of Love'

The Kalamazoo Bach Festival will present lyric soprano Rhea Olivaccé in a solo recital called "The Many Facets of Love," this Sunday.

Ms. Olivaccé is a newcomer to west Michigan. A graduate of the University of Michigan, she tells Cara Lieurance about her Caribbean upbringing and her musical family.
