WMUK at the KIA Art Fair

WMUK staff will be at the Art Fair in downtown Kalamazoo.  Our tent is on the south side of the Rotary Band Shell in Bronson Park.  Stop by to pick up one of our new tote-bags and talk with staff.  We'll be in the park until 9 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday.

Confronting Racism in West Michigan

The effects of racism are often, but not always, plain to see. But the causes of racism can be a lot harder to pin down.

A recent program in the City of Holland tried to get at those causes, especially the “unconscious” ones, in a non-confrontational way.
