Canning beer: The new trend in craft brewing

At the Bell's Brewery facility in Comstock, Bell's is putting the finishing touches on a new canning facility. Jeff Carter is the facilities manager for Bell's. He says the brewery hopes to start canning its most popular seasonal beer, Oberon, by next summer.

Be part of pagan traditions at the Winter Solstice celebration

Saturday is the Winter Solstice, the longest night of the year. To celebrate, People’s Church of Kalamazoo will do a solstice ritual based on pagan traditions. The event is Friday night at 7 p.m., with a potluck at 6 p.m.
