Michigan Unemployment Rate Edged Down Again in February

State's jobless rate was 8.8% in February of last year
The seasonally-adjusted unemployment rate in Michigan notched down again in February, hitting a point last seen in spring 2008. The slight drop to 7.7% from 7.8% reflected an increase of 26,000 workers in the labor force over the month and a decline in the number of unemployed by 4,000, according to data released today by the Michigan Department of Technology, Management & Budget.
