Kellogg Community College raises tuition 5.5%

The Kellogg Community College board voted Wednesday to increase tuition by $5 per credit hour for in-district students while setting in motion dramatic tuition increases for students in health programs. By 2015, students in nursing and other health-related programs will pay $179.25 per credit hour.

Western Michigan University men's basketball coach Steve Hawkins said Wednesday night he wished the Broncos had a game to play Thursday. WMU dropped its third consecutive game with a 71-68 loss at Drake in Des Moines, Iowa on Wednesday and Hawkins sounded less than pleased during his postgame radio interview.
