Interim City Manager Named in Battle Creek

City Manager Ken Tsuchiyama was absent as commissioners named his interim replacement on Tuesday. None of the commissioners commented as they unanimously voted to approve Tsuchiyama's separation agreement. Along with some residents who spoke during the regular meeting, they voiced their support for Community Services Director Susan Bedsole, appointing her interim city manager.

Kalamazoo City Commission Approves Dog Ban From City Golf Course

KALAMAZOO, MI -- The Kalamazoo City Commission on Monday voted to approve a proposal to ban dogs from city-owned Milham Park Golf Course. The ordinance amendment prohibits dogs on the golf course, which is popular for cross-country skiers in the winter and golfers in the summer.
