Group submits petition language for part-time Legislature in Michigan

LANSING, MI -- A group seeking to " restore Michigan's part-time Legislature" by amending the state Constitution has turned its petition language in to the Bureau of Elections for review. If the petitions are approved in form, committee chair Norm Kammeraad said the group will try to collect up to 400,000 signatures by June with hopes of placing the proposal on the November ballot.

University of Michigan regents to pick new president Friday
