COOPER TOWNSHIP, MI - A proposed commercial compost facility has been nipped in Cooper Township after heavy opposition from local residents, who are skeptical of the nuisances the business would bring. The residents of Cooper Township began rallying against the proposed $1 million commercial compost site immediately after its CEO invited locals for a meeting about the business last month.
