Battle Creek Public Schools approves Marshall running Challenge Academy

Battle Creek Public Schools' drawn-out breakup with the Michigan Youth Challenge Academy on Tuesday continued to carry all the hallmarks of any other long-term relationship coming to a close. In a brief special meeting, the BCPS Board of Education voted 6-0, with board Secretary Todd Stagner absent, to approve a resolution granting Marshall Public Schools permission to run the Challenge Academy within BCPS's boundaries.
