Marshall residents file petitions against overlay for Oaklawn Hospital

MARSHALL - Residents believe they have gathered enough petition signatures to force a referendum on the city's Hospital Campus Overlay District ordinance. Martin Overhiser, president of the Marshall Neighborhood Association, said some 20 registered voters helped collect 998 signatures. Only 543 are required to put the issue on the ballot, possibly in the fall.
