COMSTOCK TOWNSHIP, MI - Comstock Township Supervisor Ann Nieuwenhuis filed an appeal Thursday against a petition to recall her approved by the Kalamazoo County Election Commission last week. The commission -- comprised of county Clerk Tim Snow, Circuit Court Judge Stephen Gorsalitz, and county Treasurer Mary Balkema -- approved a petition to recall Nieuwenhuis on April 14.

County Roads Group Says More Than $2-Billion Needed for Michigan Road Repair
