KALAMAZOO, MI -- Attorney General Bill Schuette will be in Kalamazoo Thursday to discuss human trafficking in Michigan and how the attorney general's office is targeting the growing problem. Schuette will discuss the findings of the recently-formed Michigan Commission on Human Trafficking and how people in Michigan can respond.

WMU public safety director to retire

KALAMAZOO, MI - After more than four decades at Western Michigan University, Department of Public Safety Director and Chief Bob Brown plans to retire next January. Until that time, however, he will be on paid leave under a former policy that was changed more than a decade ago.
