Ex CEO sues Community Action for violating whistleblower laws

Ousted Community Action CEO Nancy Macfarlane has sued her former employer in an attempt to get her job back and reclaim lost wages, her attorneys announced Wednesday. The lawsuit claims the agency and its board of directors chairman, Terry Langston, violated whistleblower protection laws and the Open Public Meetings Act in her abrupt dismissal on June 20.

Kellogg makes Working Mothers best companies list

Detroit bankruptcy will not be a trend says U.S. Conference of Mayors
