Alon Goldstein returns to Gilmore with Grieg

Cara Lieurance speaks with pianist Alon Goldstein about his residency with the Kalamazoo Junior Symphony Orchestra, which will present its final concert of the season in collaboration with the Gilmore International Keyboard Festival

Mr. Goldstein has previously appeared in Kalamazoo as a soloist in the Gilmore Festival, and with the Tempest Trio for the Fontanaconcert season. He expresses his enthusiasm for collaborative music-making, and talks about his latest recording, featuring two piano concertos of Felix Mendelssohn.
