Battle Creek Police Set 2 Public Input Meetings

The City of Battle Creek has announced two occasions when members of the public can share opinions on who should be the city’s next police chief and other matters of concern.

They include a June 26 meeting where people can meet the city’s three finalists for the position, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Department of Public Works' multipurpose room.

The other occasion for input is also on June 26 from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m., at the First Salem Missionary Baptist Church. The Battle Creek Police Department describes that meeting as "an effort to engage residents and build relationships across the community."
