WMUK

1.8-million pounds of beef sold for use in restaurants is being recalled because of possible e-coli contamination.

A news release from the USDA Food Safety and Inspection Servicesays the meat products from Wolverine Packing Company were produced between March 31st and April 18th. The products were shipped to distributors for restaurants in Michigan and three other states. 11 people have reportedly become ill because of the tainted beef.
