Both Free Press and News Find Few Undecided Voters Swayed by Debate

Tom Arthur/Wikicommons

Detroit's two major newspapers had pollsters select undecided voters for Sunday night's town hall forum for governor.

The Detroit News and Detroit Free Press both find that most of those in the audience were still making up their mind. The town hall style forum in Detroit is the only scheduled face to face meeting between Republican Governor Rick Snyder and former Congressman Mark Schauer.

Bridge Magazine's Truth Squad has flagged a couple of responses from Mark Schauer in Sunday night's town hall forum. They give the former Congressman and state lawmaker two warnings. Bridge says they are researching one more claim to determine if a foul or warning should be given. The Truth Squad called a foul on Governor Snyder and issued a warning as well.
