Calhoun Police Sex Assault Case Heads to Eaton County

WMUK

Sexual assault charges against a police officer in Calhoun County's Emmett Township will be handled by a special prosecutor.

The Battle Creek Enquirer says prosecutors in Eaton County have been asked to review the case against The officer who was arrested earlier this week after Michigan State Police investigators accused him of having sex with a 14-year-old girl.

Calhoun County officials say Eaton County's prosecutors will decide whether there's enough evidence to bring charges in the case.
