Eight Swine Flu Cases Confirmed In Michigan

Eight people in Michigan have come down with a type of swine flu. The Michigan Department of Health announced confirmed cases of the H3N2 virus Friday. Everyone who got sick came in contact with pigs at county fairs in Muskegon, Cass, and Ingham counties in the past two months.

Symptoms of the H-3-N-2 flu are similar to the regular, seasonal flu. Of the eight people who got sick in Michigan, only one person was hospitalized and was later released.
