Famed violinist Regina Carter's path leads to music therapy

Jazz violinist Regina Carter, who performed with her quartet Wednesday night at Western Michigan University as part of the School of Music's Mind, Music and Medicine conference, spoke with Cara Lieurance before the concert. 

Ms. Carter opens up about her recent interest in music therapy. The conversation also touches on her most recent recording Reverse Thread, and her upcoming project, Southern Comfort.
