The nonprofit serves foster care children and their families. According to a press release, the upgrade includes a new building for foster care training, visitation rooms, playgrounds, and green spaces.
Family and Children Services also renovated a building that once housed an indoor pool. That space will provide after-school activity programs and will also be used to help foster kids in crisis. The newly renovated buildings will officially open Thursday.
