Forbes list of billionaries includes heirs of Stryker founder, retired CEO

The Stryker Corporation figures prominently in Forbes Magazine's list of the world's billionaires.

Three heirs of the company's founder make the list. Jon Stryker of Kalamazoo is reported to be worth $1.3-billion. His two sisters are also worth more than $1-billion according to Forbes. Ronda Stryker of Portage is worth $2.8-billion and is the one member of the family still actively involved in the Stryker Corporation. Pat Stryker of Fort Collins, Colorado is worth $1.6-billion. The list also includes retired Stryker CEO John Brown of Portage who is worth $1.4-billion. 

Forbes includes 12 billionaires from Michigan on its list. 

Gordon Evans became WMUK's Content Director in 2019 after more than 20 years as an anchor, host and reporter. A 1990 graduate of Michigan State, he began work at WMUK in 1996.
