InsideClimate News won the Pulitzer for National reporting for its three-part series called "The Dilbit Disaster, the Biggest Oil Spill You've Never Heard of." Dilbit is an abbreviation for "diluted bitumen," a heavier oil that is more difficult to clean up where there is a spill such as the one near Marshall in 2010.

Last summer WMUK's Gordon Evans interviewed InsideClimate News Executive Director Susan White about the series.
