Voters in the Kalamazoo and Gull Lake school districts have approved school bond requests.

KPS made the largest request in district history. Results from Tuesday’s electionshow the $96.7-million dollar proposal passed with about 70% of the vote. About 54% of voters in the Gull Lake district approved a $64-million proposal to pay for improvements such as security upgrades and additional technology.

A millage proposal to pay for a 911 emergency dispatch system in St. Joseph County was narrowly approved. Unofficial results show it passing by 41 votes.
