KSO's World Of Prokofiev Set For Sunday

When the Kalamazoo Symphony Orchestra presents "The World of Prokofiev," violinist Lisa Williams will be heading up the second violin section, as she has done in her role as principal second violin for the last 17 seasons.

In her first WMUK interview, she talks about her career with the KSO, and previews Sunday's program with insights and anecdotes about Prokofiev's music. Ms. Williams is joined by Nikki Statler, who previews the second half of the symphony season.

Cara Lieurance is the local host of NPR's All Things Considered on 1021 WMUK and covers local arts & culture on Let's Hear It on 89.9 Classical WMUK weekday mornings at 10 - 11 am.
