Michigan GOP official in hot water over Facebook post

WMUK

Michigan’s Republican national committeeman says he doesn’t plan to resign because of Facebook posts about gays and lesbians. The Gongwer News Service says 21 GOP precinct delegates and other party leaders are urging David Agema to go. Their call came after the former state lawmaker put a post on Facebook suggesting that gays committed half of all murders in New York City.

Gongwer says Agema, who lives near Grand Rapids, has “no regrets” about the posts that he says were copied from material on Facebook by Frank Joseph, a medical doctor.
