Michigan NOW: Auto marketing guru loves trains

Earlier this month, voters in Kalamazoo County renewed a millage for public transit service. But in southeastern Michigan, officials are still trying to pull a new regional transit system together.

They and others met recently at the University of Detroit Mercy where they heard from transit system managers around the country. They included Toby Barlow, an advocate for the auto industry who says his heart is still with trains and busses.
