Michigan unemployment rate unchanged in Saturday

Michigan's unemployment rate was unchanged in January.

The Department of Technology Management and Budget says the state's jobless rate remained at 8.9% as the workforce and total employment rose. Michigan's unemployment rate was three-tenths of a percent lower than it was in January of 2012.
