A funeral procession for Comstock Township Fire Chief Ed Switalski will interrupt traffic flow in some places in Kalamazoo Wednesday. Public safety officials say motorists should try to avoid the route between nine and 11:30 am.
Affected streets include Stadium Drive, Michigan Avenue and parts of M-43 and M-96.
Switalski died earlier this month when a motorist struck him while he responded to an emergency call on I-94.
