Western Michigan University

Western Michigan University’s Seita Scholars program has a new director. Ronicka Hamilton will take over the program helping students who were foster kids next month.

She replaces current Seita Scholars Director Chris Harris-Wimsatt who’s leaving to head the Kalamazoo Boys and Girls Club.

Hamilton has worked at Western for nearly 17 years, including seven as a campus coach in the Seita Scholars program.

Gordon Evans became WMUK's Content Director in 2019 after more than 20 years as an anchor, host and reporter. A 1990 graduate of Michigan State, he began work at WMUK in 1996.
