Wisconsin Public Radio

A new poll shows Governor Rick Snyder extending his lead over Democratic challenger Mark Schauer.

The survey conducted by polling firm EPIC-MRA for the Detroit Free Press and WXYZ-TV in Detroit showed the Republican with 47%, compared to 39% for Schauer. The same poll shows Republican Attorney General Bill Schuette with a ten-point lead over Democrat Mark Totten of Kalamazoo.

A poll conducted by Mitchell Research for Detroit Television station Fox 2, showed Snyder with just a two-point lead over Schauer, 48-46. The Real Clear Politics average gives Snyder a 4.2% lead over the former Congressman and state lawmaker from Battle Creek.
