Jobless rates in November were down about one-percent from year ago levels in the Kalamazoo and Battle Creek labor markets.
The Department of Technology, Management and Budget’s latest report shows the jobless rate was 3.7% in November in the Kalamazoo labor market. Unemployment in Kalamazoo and Van Buren Counties stood at 4.7% in November of 2014.
The jobless rate in the Battle Creek labor market was 4.1% in November, the figure for Calhoun County is down .8% from the same period a year ago.
