"Pedal Pubs" Now Legal in Michigan

WMUK

Gov. Rick Snyder has signed bills into law allowing “pedal pubs” to operate in Michigan.

People can now drink beer and wine while cycling between destinations on the four-wheeled pedal-powered vehicles. The operator of those vehicles would have to stay sober and carry proof of liability insurance. Communities can still ban people from drinking alcohol onboard pedal pubs by passing a local ordinance.
