The Portage Public School District says is is adding days to the end of the year to comply with state requirements.
Many districts across Michigan are adding days to end of the school year to make up some of the days lost this year because of snow.
Portage says all students will attend school through June 6th. The last day of school was supposed to be June 4th. The district says students at both of Portage's high schools, along with Moorsbridge Elementary and West Middle School will also be in class on Monday June 9th.
