A new report shows the economy in West Michigan continued growing at a slow pace in November.
The Director of Supply Chain Management Research at Grand Valley State University, Brian Long, says his survey of business leaders shows that economic indicators were mixed last month.
But Long’s monthly report for the National Association of Purchasing Management shows that one of the largest increases was in the employment index. Long says the industrial economy in West Michigan has “slowed to a crawl.” But he says it remains stronger than the rest of the state.
