Michigan Attorney General Bill Schuette is challenging President Obama’s executive order on immigration.

According to a press release Tuesday, Schuette joined in a lawsuit with attorneys general and governors from 20 other states against Obama’s policy.

The President’s order last month would protect about five million immigrants from deportation: including parents of legal residents and children who illegally entered the country with their parents.

Schuette says Obama’s order is unconstitutional. The states involved in the lawsuit have also asked for a preliminary injunction to halt the order.
