Kellogg's second quarter earnings were up slightly over last year.   USTA Boys Super Nationals begin in Kalamazoo. The Growlers sweep a double header, while the Bombers lose at home. 

Kellogg is reporting second quarter earnings were up slightly over the same period a year ago. The Battle Creek-based cereal maker says earnings and profit were up about one-percent from the second quarter of last year. (Battle Creek Enquirer)

The United States Tennis Association’s Super Nationals begin Friday in Kalamazoo. Retired professional Andy Roddick will be featured in the annual exhibition Saturday night at Kalamazoo College's Stowe Stadium.  (Kalamazoo Gazette)

In baseball, Kalamazoo swept a double header at Madison. The Growlers beat the Mallards 5-3, then took the nightcap 6-4. (Kalamazoo Growlers)
