A Kalamazoo County Judge will issue his ruling on Thursday on whether statements made by accused Kalamazoo shooter Jason Dalton will be admitted at his trial. Arguments were made to Judge Alexander Lipsey last week. (Kalamazoo Gazette)

Michigan's unemployment rate dropped slightly in March. The state's jobless rate was down two-tenths of a percent to 5.1%. The state's workforce grew by 6,000 (MichiganDepartment of Technology, Management and Budget)

Western Michigan University linebacker Robert Spillane has rejoined the Bronco football team. Spillane announced in February he was leaving the team, and intended to transfer, but now plans to return for his senior season. (Kalamazoo Gazette

The K-Wings have evened their playoff series with Toledo at two games a piece. Kalamazoo beat the Walleye 8-5 Wednesday night. The teams will play game five of the best of seven series Friday in Toledo and game six Sunday in Kalamazoo. (K-Wings
