State lawmakers have approved a scaled back version of a state pension reform plan. Supporters of a more sweeping reform could not secure enough votes. (Detroit Free Press)

Reggie Jones scored 27 points as Western Michigan beat Cleveland State Wednesday night 78-67. The Broncos scored the game's first six points, and never trailed. Western will play at Detroit Mercy on Saturday. (WMU Athletics
