Battle Creek City Commissioners will vote next month on a proposal to switch city elections to even numbered years. Battle Creek and Springfield are the only two local governments in Calhoun County that currently hold elections in odd-numbered years. (Battle Creek Enquirer

The K-Wings beat Toledo Tuesday night 6-4. The Walleye still lead the best of seven series two games to one. Game four will be played Wednesday night at the Wings Event Center in Kalamazoo. (K-Wings)
