Upjohn Institute report predicts modest job growth in Southwest Michigan over two years

A new report predicts improved private-sector employment growth in West Michigan for 2013 and 2014.
The Upjohn Institute for Employment Research's quarterly Business Outlook for West Michigan predicts continued growth in manufacturing due to resurgence in the auto industry. And it finds that the construction industry is on the mend. But the Upjohn Institute expects some of the gains in private sector employment to be off-set by job losses in government.
