Andy Robins, WMUK

On WestSouthwest, digging for clues about the "Fort of Four Flags" in Niles. And changes for the teen fan girl magazine Tiger Beat

Faculty and students from Western Michigan University have been digging at the site of Fort Saint Joseph for nearly 20 years. A public open house at the fort is being held this weekend. WMUK's Andy Robins talks with Anthropology professor Michael Nassaney and public outreach coordinator Liz Mantyck.

The teen fan girl magazine Tiger Beat came under new ownership last year. That has meant an update to the magazine's content. Illana Nash, a professor in Western Michigan University's Department of Gender and Women's Studies, studies adolescence. Nash discussed changes in the magazine with WMUK's Rebecca Thiele.

Gordon Evans became WMUK's Content Director in 2019 after more than 20 years as an anchor, host and reporter. A 1990 graduate of Michigan State, he began work at WMUK in 1996.
