On this edition of WestSouthwest, a study looks at how to capitalize on Kalamazoo Valley Community College's future Healthy Living Campus. And a look at Western Michigan University's football season, and Saturday's bowl game. 

KVCC's new healthy living campus will open this fall. The Michigan Municipal League has prepared a study on how the area near downtown Kalamazoo can be a health corridor that includes Western Michigan University's medical school, the Farmer's Market and Bronson Hospital. The Michigan Municipal League's Richard Murphy tells us that the study found.

Western Michigan University plays the Air Force Academy Saturday in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl. Kalamazoo Gazette reporter David Drew explains how the Broncos finished 8-4 a year after winning only one game. And tells us what to expect on Saturday.
