On WestSouthwest, rebroadcasts of interviews on infant mortality and the life of John Harvey Kellogg. 

  

In November, WMUK's Earlene McMichael spoke with YWCA of Kalamazoo CEO Grace Lubwama and Deborah Davenport, Director of Community Health Services in the Los Angeles County Health Department. They discussed a new effort to  address the high racial disparity in infant mortality in Kalamazoo. The next action meeting is scheduled for March 15th. 

Western Michigan University Professor Brian C. Wilson is the author of Dr. John Harvey Kellogg and the Religion of Biologic LivingHe discussed his book with WMUK's Zinta Aistars for an interview that aired on WestSouthwest December 8th. Wilson is scheduled to talk his book at the Portage District Library on January 15th at 6:30p.m.

Gordon Evans became WMUK's Content Director in 2019 after more than 20 years as an anchor, host and reporter. A 1990 graduate of Michigan State, he began work at WMUK in 1996.
