On WestSouthwest, a report on the sexually charged comments heard by female lawmakers and staff members at the state Capitol. And a public relations professional tells us how Michigan State University, or any institution facing a crisis, should respond. 

Gongwer News Service Writer Alethia Kasben heard anecdotal  evidence of inappropriate comments directed at female lawmakers and staff at the state Capitol. When she pursued a story she found some women willing to talk about their experience. And men accused of those comments denying them. 

Rick Chambers says any organization facing a crisis should "own the ugly." That's Chambers' advice for Michigan State University or anyone else delivering bad news. The owner and president of Rick Chambers and Associates spoke with WMUK on Wednesday before Lou Anna Simon resigned as Michigan State president.
