On WestSouthwest, the question of how much warmer the Earth can get, and trying to save hibernating bats. 

Western Michigan University Professor Biological Sciences David Karowe will discuss the difference between two degrees (Celsius) and four degrees of warming during an address Wednesday at the Lee Honors College Lounge. WMUK's Gordon Evans asks Karowe what the two degrees difference would mean.

For the past nine years white nose syndrome has been killing bats while they have been hibernating. WMUK's Sehvilla Mann talks with Western Michigan University Biology Professor Maarten Vonhof about his research into the deadly fungus. 

Gordon Evans became WMUK's Content Director in 2019 after more than 20 years as an anchor, host and reporter. A 1990 graduate of Michigan State, he began work at WMUK in 1996.
